I love date nights. Give me all the 1 on 1 time, deep chats, fun activities, fancy dinner dates, at home movie nights, backyard stargazing– whatever it is, I love spending time with the love of my life! 

Whether you’re looking for a cozy night in, an affordable outing, or a grand celebration, date nights are essential for keeping the spark alive in your relationship. No matter your budget or season of life, there’s always a way to prioritize intentional time together. Here are 100 date night ideas to inspire your next evening with your spouse!  

At-Home Date Nights 

1. Cook a fancy dinner together and set the table with candles  

2. Pick a new show to binge watch on a lazy saturday or late friday night with snacks and cozy blankets. Some of our faves the past years have been New Girl, Friends, Suits, Jane the Virgin, Claim To Fame and Girlmore Girls.

3. Try baking something sweet together – macarons are a fun one to try!

4. Set up a wine and cheese tasting at home  

5. Have a DIY pizza night with homemade dough and toppings  

6. Light a fire (or candles) and read a book out loud to each other  

7. Have a game night with board games or card games – Nertz, Monopoly Deal, and Duel are some 2 person games we like!

8. Go on a dream walk together at sunset and talk about dreams you want to accomplish together 

9. Make a bucket list of places you want to travel together 

10. Slow dance in the living room with a romantic playlist. Or switch it up with different kinds of dancing like salsa, square dancing etc.

11. Have a themed dinner night (e.g., Italian, Mexican, or French night) We love homemade italian complete with fresh homemade pasta and ragu sauce, bruschetta, and tiramisu! 

12. Print out photos and create a scrapbook or photo album of your favorite memories  

13. Write love letters to each other and read them aloud over a bottle of wine

14. Have a breakfast-for-dinner pajama date and eat on the sofa
