A Journey of Faith and Transformation

As someone who grew up Catholic but felt alone in my faith journey, my life dramatically changed after a summer internship with Focus back in 2018. It wasn’t just about going to Mass on Sundays anymore; it was about engaging with a community that encouraged living a Christ-centered life. Immersing myself in this environment introduced me to a deeper and more intentional way of following Jesus.

Experiencing the SEEK Conference

Fast forward to my first SEEK Conference in 2019 as a junior in college. Walking into that convention center among tens of thousands of other college students, all there to ignite their faith, was transformative. It was a pivotal moment, realizing I wasn’t alone in the Catholic community, and it fueled my courage to boldly live out my faith.

The SEEK Conference wasn’t just an event; it was a communion of heaven – an environment where you find courage and inspiration from others striving to be saints. The energy, the messages, and the community always left me eager to embrace my Catholic identity with renewed fervor.

Living Brave Like St. Joan of Arc

Inspired by St. Joan of Arc, the patron saint of this year’s SEEK, I discovered the courage to follow Christ boldly. Her story teaches us that courage is not the absence of fear but trusting God enough to follow Him, despite our fears. Living out our faith in today’s world requires this kind of bravery, whether it’s through daily prayer, standing up for our beliefs, or making Christ the center of our lives.

Saying Yes to Jesus

Saying yes to Jesus transforms our lives, creating a ripple effect that can inspire others. Whether it’s actively living out Christian values, engaging in a community, or simply speaking the truth, our small yeses lead to greater transformation. It’s not just about making a drastic change but committing to daily steps towards living a more Christ-centered life.
